Quality Assurance and Quality Control Management

In February 2026, OAKRIDGE SAS in cooperation with its South-African partner Mentospot Labour Solutions (specializing in salary structuring, employee tax optimization, contractor management, and HR consulting) under an Unincorporated Joint-Venture (UJV), was awarded a framework contract for provision of professional intellectual services to ESKOM SOC Ltd. with the validity period of 2 years, until March 2028.

Following the signing of the framework contract, a project for provision of Quality Assurance and Quality Control services was granted to OAKRIDGE-Mentospot UJV in July 2026, which encompasses 78 projects managed by a team of 8 affiliated QA/QC consultants located at the site of Koeberg Nuclear Power Station (KNPS) in South Africa, and supported by a representative of OAKRIDGE SAS playing the role of a remote QA/QC Manager. The Purchase Order (PO) was issued for the period of 12 months, with conditional extension up to 3 years. The scope of the service involves project quality assurance management, coordination of internal and external stakeholders, planning and conducting audits, monitoring management system performance, risk analysis, management of milestone reviews, development of New Project Management (NPM) team competencies, and continuous process improvement, in compliance with applicable regulatory and normative requirements (including ISO 9001 & ISO 10006:2017), client-specific requirements, nuclear industry requirements, and the approved governance framework of the NPM programme.

The discussed contract constitutes further expansion of the existing fruitful relationship between OAKRIDGE SAS and ESKOM SOC Ltd., which, among others, includes past services in the very domain of QA/QC, as well as other areas, such as deterministic and probabilistic safety assessment (DPSA), crucial in the view of continued KNPS long-term operation, beyond 40 years since its commissioning into service.
